We have had a rough week, and I’m super behind on scrappin… and well.. everything.  I am trying desperately to catch up, and here is a layout with a few pics of the boys on Easter Sunday, in their new finery.

We have eight days before Baby Allan’s 1st birthday, and I’ve been in nostalgic mode.  I will post several layouts on his birthday, but I wanted to share one today too.  This is called 4 Days Old.

I need to update the gallery, as I have several layouts that haven’t made it there yet.  I will be starting a new album for childhood pictures, as last week I brought home from CA approximately 300 pictures to scan and scrap.  Below is the first 2-pager I did with the childhood pics.  Sarah’s Birthday – 1980.  (Sarah is my little sis).  Wasn’t she adorable?!

And yes, I’ve noticed a bit of a scrapbook slump – the baby layout and the birthday layouts are very, very similar.  Didn’t know I was in the slump until today tho!

This is the first layout with “California trip” pics.  Both of these pictures were taken in the car on the way home.  The boys did SO well, especially since the return trip took 3 extra hours, due to construction traffic.   

The layout is for my Scrap Therapy challenge at ScrapMommies.com.  I’m going to alternate between somewhat difficult topics (like fear, anger, etc) and easier topics like joy.  This one is obviously that – My Joy!

Well, my blogging habits took a serious nose-dive over the last week and a half!  Mostly that’s because we went out of town for a long weekend.  And then I came home with the world’s worst cold.  I haven’t been that sick in a long, long time.  (Let’s see.. baby Allan is almost a year old… so it’s been a year since I felt that bad!)  Yes, this cold even rivaled how bad I felt while pregnant – it was THAT bad!  I slept from Tuesday evening until Wednesday afternoon, almost uninterupted, thanks to my wonderful husband.  That helped tremendously, and I’ve been catching naps whenever I can since.  Suffice it to say, not much has been done around the house, with the business, OR with scrappin!  And I have almost 300 pictures from our trip to CA to scrap, so that last one is killing me!

I expect to scrap something sometime today, but in the meantime, here is a sneak peek at some of the pics I took:

I’m off to cut about 300 full-size wrappers and process a couple more orders.  Did I mention that business has suddenly been pouring in… of course while I was out of town and then sick as could be!  I’m very thankful, because it’s exactly what I’ve been praying for, but I can’t help but be amused at the timing.  It always happens this way.

You can expect more from me just as soon as I can catch a break to SCRAP!

(And Happy Easter, just in case it takes me longer than I want it to take!)
