The days just fly by faster and faster – it seems like they can’t go any faster, but yet they do. I have a lot of plates in the air, and occasionally it feels like a few might come crashing to the floor, but so far I’m keeping everything spinning. How’s that for a muddled cliche? It’s about the best my brain can do anymore.
A few things that are happening:
 - Martha is sleeping MOST of the night now – anywhere from 5 to 8 hours at a time, depending on her night. She went to bed at 9:30 tonight. Wonder of wonders!
 - Lil Allan is being QUITE the two year old. He especially enjoys pushing his big brother’s buttons.
 - Samuel is amazing us on a daily basis with his growth and maturing. He has started “practicing” with pencils and crayons and we’re seeing a few stick figure pictures and such when he draws. (He’s had issues with doing this in the past, and we’ve had him evaluated for sensory and motor issues – evaluation report coming soon).Â
 - We are playing the piano! I downloaded some simple music from the Internet today, and we played the piano and sang songs for about an hour. Samuel is not quite ready to learn the songs, but I think he’ll be ready any day now. He’s a bit of a perfectionist, so if he thinks he can’t do something RIGHT, he hesitates to try. I’m going to keep encouraging him though, because the piano is good for those motor skills too, AND I think he will really enjoy it once he tries.Â
 - We’ve been BBQ’ing on Allan’s new grill – what fun that is, since I get to stay inside and just set up the table and then enjoy the GOOD food! Yay Daddy for being a GRILL MASTER!
 - There is so much more, but lil Allan is awake and crying, and I just heard Martha too. More soon, I hope!
