The times, they are a changin’

Well, it’s finally happening. My baby… my last baby… is trying to crawl!Â
No more thinking ”sure, we can go another week without vacuuming” around here.Â
Not that we really go that long between vacuuming, but if we DID, we can’t do that anymore.Â
Ok, yes, we really do go a long time between vacuuming, but.. no more.
And it’s very sweet. Her brothers are down on the floor, trying to “teach” her how to crawl. “It’s easy, Martha… see!”
Only if I were Martha, and I were trying to learn to crawl, I think I’d stick to my own devices, because the boys? They are a tad confusing with their teaching skills. Arms flopping everywhere, legs flying. Not a whole lot of real crawling going on.
Not yet!
But, oh, so soon! So very, very soon!
And Mama cries a little…

Oh! How sweet that she’s learning to crawl. It’s crazy that your baby is old enough to try to learn that!
First it’s learning to crawl, then it’s learning to put on makeup…um, not really, um, never mind. She really will stay your baby for a REALLY long time!

Makeup? Makeup? Aaaaghhhhhh!!! Just one more thing I hadn’t thought of – I have to teach someone how to use and wear makeup? Heaven help us!
