Too many things in my head…

    By bella | January 7, 2008

So, I was going over my To Do list today, right before making lil Allan’s lunch.  A little later as I was cutting his quesadilla into bite size pieces, I started to feel overwhelmed, and I said out loud, (in probably a frustrated tone) ”I’ve got too many things in my head!”

Leave it to my boy, but of course he went to tell Grandma (who was sitting on the couch), all about the “things in mommy’s head”.  He doesn’t know what it means, or why I was venting, but he heard the words and took them to heart.  It was funny to hear him quoting me, mostly because just about anything lil Allan does is funny.  It helped relieve a little pressure to chuckle at my son, and now I’m sitting down to tackle the To Do list, and ALL the “things in my head!”

Just in case you are curious, here are a few things I’ll be working on over the next week or two:

    1. Move all the websites (about 15 more to go) that my company hosts from one server to another.

    2. Upload candy wrappers and wrapper sets to the “new and improved” DelightWrappers.com (which is still not QUITE new and improved, but see #3).

    3. Finish updating and improving DelightWrappers.com, and unveil the new look to the world (or the Internet world, I guess).

    4. Work with several designers/friends, using their beautiful kits, to make wrappers, sets, quick pages and albums to list both at DelightWrappers.com, Delight-Designs.com, and a new online store called Candy Tree.  Ruby, one of the owners, graciously invited me to be a part of the list of designers at Candy Tree, and I will be working with her kits and hopefully others’ there as well.  (And selling some of my own stuff too - see #5).  I can’t wait for you to see what I’ve been working on since getting one of her kits yesterday.  LOVING it!

    5. Re-package my templates, elements, and other digi-scrap stuff to upload to my new store at Candy Tree (see #4).

    6.  Upload said stuff (along with all the other new designs mentioned in #4) to my shop at Delight-Designs.com

    7.  Finish configuring the shop at Delight-Designs.com and unveil and launch THAT part of the site to the Internet world.

    8. Work on more book and card templates for my Heritage Makers business.  Try to get the house clean to have an “open house”, to get things going for 2008 with HM.

    9.  Help my sister Sarah finish her website – www.sarahrosedesigns.com – and help my mother finish her website – www.mycraftbooth.com

    10. Deliver two current Heavenly Promises orders, and work on any more that come in.

    11. Um, what else… oh yea, cook, clean, and bathe my children, and try to be a good mommy and wife, while doing all the “business” stuff mentioned in the previous entries!

There is SO much more on the list than what I listed above, but that’s probaby enough to give you a good idea of exactly WHAT is in my head!

Oh yea, and lil Allan thinks he wants to start potty training – he wants to be a big boy like “nanol” (Samuel).  I’ll have time for potty training, right?
