My sister used to feed her daughter tofu. She said it was the easiest protein in the world to feed her - take out of package, cut into chunks, put on tray. LOL Of course if soy is a problem with your child then read the labels carefully.

At this age my girlie liked canned green beans. I think she liked the fact that she could hold on to it herself and gnaw away.

Hey you! My babies always loved baked sweet potatoes. Just scrub it and bake it in a covered dish for at least an hour, or until it is very tender. Then, peel it and eithe mash it with a fork or cut it into tiny chunks if she's ready. They are packed with nutrition. Now, if only my kids still liked them..

Have you tried the Yo Baby yogurts? They are specifically designed for babies. You can even get ones with baby cereal in them. At my grocery store they are with the organic stuff not with the regular yogurts. My 11 month old LOVES them especially the apple flavored ones. Have you tried giving her avacados? Most babies love them all mashed up. My son also loves scrambled eggs. Good luck!
