About This Blog

January 4, 2008:

It’s time for an update to this page, but I need to think on what I want to say. In the meantime, below is the “about this blog” that I wrote a couple of years ago. The main changes are 1) we have three children now - we added a baby girl in March 07, 2) we bought a house and no longer live in the TINY two bedroom apartment (thank you Lord), and 3) sleep in the afternoons? hahahahahahahaha…ha

Oh yes, and I no longer work in a corner in our bedroom. Can I get another “Thank You Lord”. I’m also not doing quite as much web design anymore, and a whole lot more candy wrapper and digital designs now (see www.heavenlypromises.com, www.delight-designs.com and www.delightwrappers.com). I also blog over at DigiScrapChat.com

The Original “About This Blog”:

If you’ve reached this blog by accident (which is very likely), you probably would be interested in an introduction to what it’s all about. Well, I honestly can’t say for sure yet, but I think it will be one of those catch-all journal type blogs, full of the daily happenings of my family and life. Occasionally there may be a few profound thoughts and original ideas.

So, about me? I recently moved to Las Vegas (summer of 04) and married a wonderful man. We make our home in a two bedroom apartment with our two sons, Samuel and lil Allan. I work from home out of a corner in the master bedroom. I design websites, offer website hosting, and also create candy wrappers for special occasions. It’s a nice extra income, and it allows me to be home with our sons and I get to sleep in the afternoons when the boys take a nap at the same time.

There’s a lot more to say, but I think I’ll let the blog speak for itself over the new few months.
